The bride-elect is the daughter of Gary (Darlene) Cryer of Lafayette and Jeannie (Johnnie) Frederick of Lake Arthur. She is the granddaughter of the late Johnny and Harriet Adams of Jennings and the late Preston and Marjorie Cryer of Lake Charles.

Welsh High FFA receives Living to Serve Grant

INDIANAPOLIS – The Welsh High FFA chapter in has been awarded a Yearlong Living to Serve Grant in the amount of $1,500.00. The nationwide program provides grant money to local FFA chapters to support yearlong service-learning projects that address needs related to community safety, environmental responsibility, hunger, health and nutrition and community engagement.
