Fenton officials warn residents of heat-related illnesses

FENTON - In the aftermath of Hurricane Laura, many parish residents are still weeks away from seeing the restoration of electrical services. After an emergency relating to heat exhaustion, the Fenton Police Department is encouraging residents to be vigilant and to watch for signs of heat injuries.

LAKE ARTHUR - When the going gets tough, the tough get going. The small community here comes together in times of need. At a recent meeting, town officials expressed gratitude for all who played a role in securing the area before the storm and keeping a vigilant watch during the storm. They also thanked everyone who helped with clean up and recovery efforts after the threat had passed.
