No. 6 Lady Dogs take down Kinder 64-48

KINDER – The No.6-ranked Jennings Lady Bulldogs went on the road Tuesday night and toppled a talented Kinder team by a final of 64-48. Jennings was able to break open a tight contest in the second period, and ultimately bumped their record to 11-2 heading into the Christmas holidays. Jennings placed three scorers in double digits, headlined by Jill Fontenot’s 20-point outing.

Lady Tigers blast Iowa 90-20

IOWA – The Lake Arthur Lady Tigers (LA) put on a shooting exhibition in Iowa earlier this week, nailing an impressive 13 3-pointers in a 90-20 win over the host Lady Jackets. LA placed all five starters in doublefigures in the contest, and upped their record to 14-2 heading into the holidays. According to the Louisianabased website geauxpreps. com, the Lady Tigers are currently the No.2 team in all of 2A.

LSU assistant coaches Ensminger, Johnson retiring
