Parish residents will have the opportunity to responsibly dispose of unused and expired prescriptions this weekend thanks to local law enforcement. Jeff Davis Parish Sheriff’s Office (JDSO), in conjunction with Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), is holding National Prescription Drug Take Back Day from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 28. JDSO will be accept i n g prescription medication at its main office, located at 1530 U.S. 90 West.
