Walking my dog Dorothy a few months ago I didn’t recognize the fellow waving from the white car until he stopped to say hello. Turns out it was Ed, a casual acquaintance, whose wave I hadn’t acknowledged because I couldn’t see him through the tinted glass.

It’s not always easy to make the best out of a bad situation, but many people in Jeff Davis Parish are pulling together to either help those affected by coronavirus or make life a little more fun.

Our current circumstances are no fun. In addition to the seriousness of the COVID-19 pandemic for health reasons, our busy lives have suddenly been forced to a halt.
