LAKE ARTHUR - Funeral Services for Robert Lee Marceaux, 62, of Lake Arthur will be held at Matthews and Son Funeral Home in Lake Arthur Thursday, Aug. 22, 2019, at 11 a.m., with Brother Jered Thomas officiating.

A gathering of family and friends will be held at the funeral home beginning Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2019, from 1:30-8 p.m. Visitation will resume Thursday, Aug. 22, from 8 a.m. until the time of his service at 11 a.m.

Burial will follow in St. Anthony Cemetery.

It’s with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Margaret “Margo” Dunn Gillard Landry of Welsh announces her passing from this life on Aug. 15, 2019, at the age of 73.

Memorial services will be held at Our Lady of Seven Dolors Catholic Church in Welsh Thursday, Aug. 22, 2019, at 1:30 p.m.

Following her service, Margo will be interned in Pine Island Cemetery located on Pine Island Hwy. in Jennings.

It’s with great sadness and the heaviest hearts that the family of Robert “T-Boy” Wayne Richard, 64, of Jennings announces his passing from his earthly life on Aug. 15, 2019.

Funeral services will be held at Matthews and Son Funeral Home in Jennings today, Sunday, Aug. 18, 2019, at 4 p.m., with Brother Josh Belt officiating.

A gathering of family and friends will be held at the funeral home Sunday from noon until 8 p.m.

Mr. Richard’s family will be honoring his wishes of cremation following his services.

Funeral services for Garrette Dean Duhon, Sr., 66, of Jennings will be held at Matthews and Son Funeral Home in Jennings Thursday, Aug. 15, 2019, at 10 a.m., with Reverend Mickey Istre officiating.  

A gathering of family and friends will be held at the funeral home beginning Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2019, from 2:30-9 p.m.,and will resume Thursday, Aug. 15, 2019, from 8 a.m. until the time of his service at 10 a.m.

Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.

Ester “Marie” Agent entered Heavenly rest on Sunday, Aug. 11, 2019, at her home surrounded by her loving family.  She was 75.

A private ceremony will be held at 3 p.m. today, Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2019.  A celebration of life for family and friends will be held at a later date.

Marie was preceded in death by her son, Rick Paden-Agent, and two sisters, Mary Allen and Faye Kruse.

A gathering of family and friends will be held at the funeral home Wednesday, Aug. 14, from 5-9 p.m., with a rosary recited at 6 p.m. Visitation will resume Thursday Aug. 15, from 9 a.m. until the time of his service at 2 p.m.

KINDER/FENTON - Colonel Donald A. Ladner, United States Army (Retired), 84, passed away in Lake Charles on Monday, Aug. 5, 2019, surrounded by his loving family.

His funeral service will be held today, Friday, Aug. 16, 2019, at 10 a.m. in Kinder Bible Church of Kinder, with Rev. Don Barrett officiating.

Visitation was held Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at Reed Funeral Home in Kinder, and will continue today, Friday, from 8 a.m. until time of service at Kinder Bible Church.

Burial will be held at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Vir.
