IOTA — It is with heavy hearts that the family of Nell Hebert Fruge announces her passing on Tuesday, Oct. 12, 2021, in the comfort of her home at the age of 83.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 15, 2021, at St. Jules Catholic Church in Tee Mamou.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Iota today, Thursday, Oct. 14, 2021, from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m., with a rosary prayed at 7 p.m. Visitation will resume Friday, Oct. 15, 2021, from 8 a.m. until time of services.

LAKE ARTHUR — Funeral services for Mrs. Marie Mazie Miller Marceaux, 88, of Lake Arthur will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, Oct. 15, 2021, in Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, with Rev. Jay Alexius officiating. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 15, 2021, in the church and will continue until service time, with a rosary recited at 2:30 p.m.

Burial will follow in St. Anthony Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Marie Mazie Miller Marceaux was born April 16, 1933, and passed away on Oct. 12, 2021. She was known as Mazie to her friends and family.

Visitation for Mrs. McCluer will be held Saturday, Oct. 16, 2021, from 9:30 a.m. until the 2 p.m. service time.

Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.

Mrs. McCluer was born on Dec. 28, 1943, in Jennings to Ellis and June Elizabeth Wilson Cormier. She passed away on Oct. 11, 2021, in Jennings American Legion Hospital.
