Judy Ann Lyons

It’s with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Judy Ann Lyons of Jennings announces her passing from this life on July 18, 2019, at the age of 62.

The family of Judy is honoring her wishes of cremation and a memorial service may be held at a later date.

Judy was born in Lake Charles to Clifford Lyons and Marie Deshotel Lyons on March 2, 1957. She worked as an administrative assistant, a job she enjoyed. Judy loved to cook, dance and color. She especially loved spending time with all of her family and friends. Judy was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Judy is survived by her son, Lyndon Shell (Adrienne) of Bayou Chicot; her daughter, Stephanie Shell Kendle (Nathaniel) of Southaven, Miss.; her three brothers, Huey Lyons of Sulphur, Lane Lyons of Dyke, Texas, and Tim Lyons of Sulphur; her two sisters, Janie Boudreaux of Roanoke and Lou Simoneaux of Jennings; her 11 grandchildren, Skyler, Kyle, Tristen, Haiden, Dylan, Ethan, Kyleena, Wesley, Carpathia, Hudson and Elliott; her godchild, Uronie; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Marie Deshotel Lyons; her son, Richard Paul Shell; her sisters, Tina Lyons, Ronda Barbre and Linda Moore; and her brothers, Clifford Lyons, Jr., and Taylor Lyons.
