Leroy Joseph Hebert

Leroy Joseph Hebert, 87, of Welsh passed away at his home on July 4, 2019, surrounded by his loving family. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. today, Tuesday, July 9, 2019, at Our Lady of Seven Dolors Catholic Church, with Rev. Whitney Miller and Rev. Alan Trouille officiating. Visitation was held from 5-9 p.m. Monday, July 8, 2019, at Hixson Funeral Home in Welsh, with a Vigil service held at 6:30 p.m. Visitation will resume today, Tuesday, from 8 a.m. until time of service. Burial will follow in Our Lady of Seven Dolors Mausoleum. Leroy was born on April 4, 1932, to Algole Hebert and Eula Haines In Crowley. He was a lifelong resident of Welsh and an active member of Our Lady of Seven Dolors Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by wife, Donna Hayes; son, Karl Hebert; parents, Algole Hebert and Eula Haines; brothers, Nelson Hebert, Clifford Hebert and Rodney Hebert; and sisters, Dorothy Ardoin and Beatrice “Sister Henrietta” Hebert. He is survived by sons, Keith Hebert and wife Regina of Orange, Texas, and Kevin Hebert and wife Suzie of Round Rock, Texas; brothers, Wilford Hebert and Wilson Hebert; grandchildren, Tiffany Brogan and husband Jason, Josh Hebert and wife Kim, Amanda Farnum and husband Daniel, and Karl Hebert and wife Samantha; great-grandchildren Ava, Jack, Mary Grace, Evelyn, Alabee, Brett, Madison, Terra, Brandon, Lacie, and Brooke; and numerous nieces and nephews.
