Robert ‘Bob’ Fawcett

Funeral services Mr. Robert “Bob” Fawcett, 63, of Jennings will be held Wednesday, March 20, 2019, at 2 p.m. in Miguez Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Walter Parker officiating.

Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 20, 2019, and continue until the time of service.

Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.

Mr. Fawcett was a lifelong resident of Jeff Davis Parish. He graduated from Jennings High School in 1975 and from Jefferson Davis Vo-Tech School in 1976. He worked as a mechanic for Bubba Oustalet Ford Dealership for 43 years. Mr. Fawcett enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a member of Jennings United Methodist Church.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 38 years, Kimberly “Kim” Gary Fawcett; two sons, Damien F. Fawcett and fiancé Lindsey Courville of Jennings and Cody D. Fawcett and wife Hannah of Jennings; one sister, Carol Sater of Spokane Valley, Wash.; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Irwin “Bud” and Mary “Betty” Thompson Fawcett; brothers, George I. Fawcett and Frederick Fawcett; in-laws, Edmund and Juanita Doucet Gary; and brother-in-law, Bob Sater.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in Bob’s name to a charity of your choice.
