Wensil Phelps Theriot

It’s with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Wensil Phelps Theriot announces her passing from this life on Sept. 15, 2019, at the age of 62.

The family is honoring her wishes of cremation. A memorial service may be announced at a later date.

Wensil was born in New Iberia to Allen Ray Phelps and Kathern Jackson Phelps on Oct. 8, 1956. Wensil loved to paint, do crafts and puzzles, call bingo and pokeno and read her Bible. She also enjoyed watching movies and listening to a variety of music – her all-time favorite was Gospel. Most of all Wensil loved visiting with family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Wensil is survived by her husband, Dale A. Theriot, and her cousins, Thomas K. Dunn (Missy) and Steven K. Dunn.

Wensil was preceded in death by her parents, Allen Ray and Kathern Jackson Phelps.
