Wilbert Joseph Touchet

Wilbert Joseph Touchet was born on June 17, 1942, to the late Linus Touchet and Jane Vincent Touchet LaCombe of Kaplan. He departed this life on May 1, 2019.

Final arrangements are entrusted to Louisiana Funeral Services and Crematory of Broussard.

Wilbert was affectionately known as Willie. He served 20 years in the US Navy and 37 years with Auto Comm. Willie was an amazing man - hard working, dedicated to his family, wife, stepchildren, daughter, grand and greatgrandchildren.

He leaves behind many loved ones to cherish his memory, including his wife, Jo Touchet of Duson; stepson and his wife, Robbie and Tammy Davidson of St. Martinville; stepdaughter Jennifer Davidson of Duson; one brother, George Lacombe of Lake Arthur; and three sisters and brothers-in-law, JoAnne and Kevin Hurst of Oklahoma, Faye and Jody Miller of Panchoville and Della and Greg Todd of Lake Charles. Willie also leaves a wonderful legacy to be treasured with five grandchildren, Ashley Fontenot, Samantha Doucet, Katy Davidson and Connor and Gavin Davidson; and three great-grandchildren, Hayluh, Ethan and Easton Doucet.

Willie was preceded in death by his mother, Jane Lacombe; stepfather, Wilfred Lacomb; father, Linus Touchet; brother, Alvin Lacombe; maternal grandparents, Delma and Olita Vincent of Lake Arthur; and daughter, Angela Dawn Touchet.
