Zachary David Blanchard

Zachary David Blanchard, 23, of Jennings passed away peacefully on Oct. 3, 2019, at his home in Jennings.

Funeral services for Zachary will be held Monday, Oct. 7, 2019, at 2 p.m. in Miguez Funeral Home Chapel, with pastors Bubba McCann and Josh Belt officiating.

Visitation will begin at 3 p.m. today, Sunday, Oct. 6, 2019, and continue until 9 p.m. Visitation will resume Monday from 8 a.m. until the time of service.

Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.

Zachary was a very special and loving child who enjoyed camping, going in the swimming pool and riding in his bike cart.

Those left behind to cherish Zachary’s memory are his parents, Gerald Wayne and Laura Gotreaux Blanchard of Jennings; his sister, Amber and her husband Derek Deere of Carlyss; his brother, Gerald Wayne Blanchard II of Jennings; maternal grandparents, Early “Chick” and Barbara Gotreaux; paternal grandparents, Eugene and Elsie Blanchard; and a niece, Jersey.

Zachary was preceded in death by a brother, David Joseph Blanchard.
