Brandon Scott Hearod

Funeral services for Mr. Brandon Scott Hearod, 39, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, 2019, in Miguez Funeral Home chapel, with Johnathan Howell officiating.

Funeral home visitation will be held from 3:30-9 p.m. Friday and will continue from 8 a.m. Saturday until time of services.

Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.

Mr. Hearod passed away at 3:05 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2019, in his residence due to heart complications.

Mr. Hearod was a lifelong resident of Jennings and worked as a carpenter. He loved artwork, woodworking, playing the guitar and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife, Misty Bertrand Hearod of Jennings; three sons, Austin Landry of Mobile, Ala., and Daityn Hearod and Haiden Hearod, both of Jennings; his parents, James and Saundra Duhon Hearod, Sr., of Jennings; one sister, Marquitha (Edward) Reeves of Jennings; one brother, James Hearod, Jr., of Jennings; and a host of nieces and nephews.
