Eight Lacassine High School Family and Consumer Science students recently completed an industry-based credential for Servsafe Manager. The ServSafe Food Protection Manager course is modeled after the FDA Code guidelines and also includes basic principles of reducing liability through food handling techniques, safety systems, training and supervising employees. The students celebrated their achievement with a special lunch at school. Students who earned the certification included Ericka Vick, Zoe Waguespack, Trent Granger, Sofia Melville, Samantha Granger, Dasheun Pappion, Alec Comeaux and Ty Semar.
