ROV to host registration event

Secretary of State Kyle Ardoin is joining registrars of voters across the state this week to host Voter Registration Week activities aimed at registering Louisianians to vote.

This year, Jeff Davis Registrar of Voters (ROV) will hold an open house voter registration event Friday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at their office located at 302 N. Cutting Ave. The public is invited to attend.

1 pound ground beef

1 package taco seasoning mix

8 ounces cream cheese, at room temperature

1/2 cup sour cream

1 cup Fresh Cravings Chunky Salsa, plus additional for topping

1 cup grated mozzarella

1/2 cup blended Mexican cheese

DOGS COMPETITIVE AGAINST 5A BARBE

LAKE CHARLES – The Jennings Bulldogs opened up the 2021 football season by taking on the 5A Barbe Buccaneers on Thursday evening in a controlled scrimmage. Each team sent their first unit offense and defense out for three 15-play sequences, while also allowing the junior varsity teams to do the same.
