The Lacassine Cardinals used a pair of big performances from a set of brothers Thursday afternoon to claim a 3-1 district 7-B win over the Episcopal School of Acadiana Falcons. Senior Jace Bageux tossed a complete-game nohitter, while eighth-grade little brother, and catcher, Layne, drove in the gamewinning runs in the bottom of the sixth inning. Jace struck out 14 Falcons over his seven-inning span on the mound, and only issued two free passes in his gem.
