It’s summertime and that means hot weather is upon us in Jeff Davis Parish. The heat makes it almost impossible to accomplish anything that requires you to be outside longer than 30 seconds and can also lead to an increase of heat-related illness, including cardiovascular disorders.
About this time in 2012, I sat down to write a humorous spin on what I saw as an issue in the world. Fastforward 10 years later, and it seems that old column of mine is still applicable.
