First updated COVID-19 booster available

The Louisiana Department of Health (LDH) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recently announced their endorsement of the first updated COVID-19 boosters for residents 12 years and older.

Founders Park will soon see live music and be jampacked with dancing from 6-8 p.m. each Tuesday afternoon as the popular Turn It Up Tuesdays (TIUT) concert series returns for its fall lineup.

The event, sponsored by the Jeff Davis Arts Council (JDAC) and Joy Lebleu, is free and open to the public. The family-friendly atmosphere provides fun for people of all ages.

JDAC Director Tesha Onellion has released this year’s band line-up and said everyone is looking forward to an exciting season with returning crowd favorites.
