ELTON — The Elton High Invitational kicked off last Wednesday and wrapped up Saturday at Oris Guidry Gymnasium. The championship game came down to a match between the Elton Indians and the Iowa Yellow Jackets. The Jackets would dominate the contest in the second half for the win of 72-50. The Indians drop to 2-5 while the win starts the Jackets’ season off at 3-0.
With the early voting period closing Saturday, voters must now make their voices heard on several items on the ballot for the Dec. 10 Congressional General Election.
