Five thousand dollar fire at Welsh

June 30, 1914 Fire originating in a Chinese laundry here Saturday night destroyed several frame business structures, with a loss of about tear of the Chinese laundry. The operator of the laundry left Welsh on the 9:45 p.m. train Saturday night and states that he left no lamp burning nor fire of any sort in the building. Fire was discovered about 10:30 p.m.
