Dogs aim for 8-1 start against St. Louis

Following an emotional victory last week over the Notre Dame Pioneers, the Jennings Bulldogs will now turn their attention back to district play tonight when they play host to the St. Louis Saints.

Benefit planned

A Jennings man recovering from a recent open-heart surgery is having a benefit thrown in his honor to help with medication and various medical expenses and bills, from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus Hall located at 17300 La. 102.

The Hounds could never get anything going offensively in the battle, and the defense could not contain the speed of the Knights.
