WELSH — For the second year in a row, the Welsh Greyhounds have reached the quarterfinals and for the second year in a row, they will now face the number one seed in the playoffs. Welsh will travel Friday to the northernmost part of the state and take on the top-ranked Haynesville Golden Tornado in the Division IV non-select state playoffs. The Golden Tornado will enter the fray with an unblemished 12-0 record, as they have yet to taste defeat this year. Welsh will enter the contest with a 7-5 overall mark following a bye win last week when the Ferriday Trojans were disqualified following a fight during their bi-district clash with Lake Arthur.
