Jennings Rotary Club recognizes middle school students

The Jennings Rotary Club recently honored sixth, seventh and eighth grade students with its Scholastic Achievement Awards in highest grade point average and most improved and runner-up in the subjects of Math, English and Science. Each winner received a certificate and cash award from the Rotary Club which has been giving out the awards for 34 years.

Students at Jennings Elementary, Jennings High School, Our Lady Immaculate School and Bethel Christian School were presented their awards during each school’s Awards Day program.

For more than 20 years the Jeff Moore basketball camp has invited the youth of Lake Arthur and it’s surrounding areas to a fourday camp packed with learning opportunities for
