PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Game 3 of the World Series between the Philadelphia Phillies and Houston Astros was postponed by rain Monday night with the matchup tied 1-1, pushing the entire Fall Schedule schedule back one day.

LAKE CHARLES — After a week that saw Jennings Head Coach Rusty Phelps announce his retirement, and the Bulldog team battle some illnesses, the Jennings High football team battled through for the “Old Ball Coach” to earn a 27-23 comefrom- behind victory over the Lake Charles College Prep (LCCP) Trailblazers at Cougar Stadium. Trailing 23-13 entering the fourth quarter, Jennings used a pair of rushing TD’s brought forward by a tenacious defensive effort to take the district 4-3A victory. The Dogs improved to 3-6 overall, 3-2 in league play.

Tigers Fall to DeQuincy, 35-32
