ELTON — After taking the 2020 season away from the gridiron, the Elton Indians fought their way through a rough first season back in 2021. However, with longtime local Head Coach Marcus Lejeune at the helm, the Indians are sure to improve on their 0-10 mark a season ago. The Indians went toeto-toe with the 2A Vinton Lions in their spring contest last week, and according to Lejeune, he saw lots of progress in just six short months. They two teams finished the controlled game tied at 7-7.
