SULPHUR - With a handful of arms to choose from, Iota coach Leonard Cloud pondered who to go with in the Bulldogs’ first ever semifinal appearance.
It wasn’t until Wednesday - the day before the big game- that he named his starter - Hunter Wriborg.
As it turned out, his decision was the perfect choice.
Wriborg, a junior righty who threw a no-hitter in the Colt League World Series in 2017, baffled No. 2-seeded Brusly from start to finish Thursday, limiting the Panthers to just four hits while striking out 14 in a 6-0 Bulldog victory.
