SULPHUR - All good things eventually come to an end. That, however, wasn’t the case for the Welsh Greyhounds Friday in their Class 2A semifinal showdown against No.10 Lakeside at Frasch Park.

Despite squandering a 5-run cushion in the fifth inning, Welsh’s Dylan Hughes drew a basesloaded walk in the bottom of the seventh inning to lift the No. 3-seeded Greyhounds to a thrilling 6-5 victory over the Warriors.
