Joseph Clarevill ’T-Joe’Duhon
LAKE ARTHUR - Funeral Services for Joseph Clarevill “T-Joe” Duhon, 82, of Lake Arthur will be held at Matthews and Son Funeral Home in Lake Arthur on Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2018, at 2 p.m., with Father Charles McMillin officiating.
A gathering of family and friends will be held beginning today, Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2018, from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m., with a rosary recited at 6 p.m. Visitation will resume on Wednesday, Nov. 7, from 8 a.m. until the time of his service at 2 p.m.
Burial will follow with Full Military Rites in Andrus Cove Cemetery.
Joseph was born in Sulphur on Feb. 6, 1936, to Murl George Duhon and Clara Juanita Theriot Duhon. He was called from this earthly life by his Heavenly Father on Nov. 4, 2018. Joseph loved the outdoors, he loved caring for his horses, sitting on his porch and waving to everyone that passed his house. Joseph also enjoyed cooking, and spending time with all of his family and friends. He was a kind and loving man who was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Joseph is survived by his beloved wife, Sharon Murray Duhon of Lake Arthur; his son, Matthew Duhon (Caroline Abshire) Lake Arthur; his three daughters, Deborah Duhon Guidry (Gilbert Manuel) of Sulphur, Nichole Murray (Shelby Achane) of Lake Arthur and Kelli Hoke (Robert) of Welsh; his 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and his two sisters, Patsy Richard of Sulphur and Linda Ellender of Longville.
Joseph was preceded in death by his parents, Murl and Clara Duhon; and his daughter, Paula McFatter.
Carrying Joseph to his final resting place will be Robert Hoke, Shelby Achane, Gilbert Manuel, Scott LaVergne, Mike Richard and Mitch Richard.
Honorary pallbearers will be Karter Hoke and Hayden and Holden O’Quain.
