Funeral Services for Judy Kaye Deshotel, 64, of Evangeline will be held at Matthews and Son Funeral Home Chapel in Jennings on Tuesday, June 26, 2018, at 11 a.m., with Pastor Willie Casiano officiating.

A gathering of family and friends will be held at the funeral home beginning on Monday, June 25, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. and continuing until the time of her funeral service.

Judy will be laid to rest in Greenwood Cemetery following her service.

Judy was born in Jennings on Jan. 12, 1954, to Willie B. Deshotel and Beulah Chaisson. She was called to her Heavenly Father on June 22, 2018.

Judy was a seamstress, a job which she loved. Sewing for people made her happy. She also loved making jelly and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Judy was a kind and loving person. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Judy is survived by stepfather, Francis Foster of Jennings; her son, Willie Casiano (Heather) of Evangeline; her two daughters, Gayla Casiano of Evangeline and Sarah Guidry (Jonathon) of Denham Springs; her sister, Patricia Koonce of Hathaway; her brother, Michael Wayne Deshotel of Evangeline; as well as her six grandchildren, Hannah, Joshua, Leah, Isaac, Koben and Rachel.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Beulah Deshotel; her beloved husband, Charlie Casiano; and her three grandchildren, Gavin, Baron and Caleb Casiano.
