Julie Cormier LeGros
Funeral services for Mrs. Julie Cormier LeGros, 50, of Westlake will be held Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at 2 p.m. in Miguez Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Rick McClain and Rev. Ray Copeland officiating. Burial will follow in Andrus Cove Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.
Visitation for Mrs. LeGros will begin today, Tuesday, July 17, from 3-9 p.m. and will resume at 8 a.m. Wednesday until time of service.
Mrs. LeGros was a 1986 graduate of Jennings High School. She enjoyed her job in the field of education as a teacher’s aide. She loved dancing, gardening, going to festivals and listening to French music. Julie especially enjoyed spending time with her grandbabies and crocheting blankets.
She is survived by her husband, Robert LeGros, Jr.; her mother, Judy Gotreaux Sonnier of Jennings; daughters Sheleece (Jason) Bolles of Jennings, Whitlea Cormier of Hathaway and Kami Aguillard of Lake Charles; sons Robert (Sabrina) LeGros III of Menifee, California and Aven (Cierra) Aguillard of Lake Charles; sisters Renee (Jimmy) Miller and Carla Thibodeaux of Jennings, Tina (Jody)Evans of Krotz Springs; Connie (Mike)Hebert of Lafayette and Elaine Breaux of South Carolina; brothers Harold (Sue)Breaux of Crowley, Earl Gray Breaux, Jr. of Ft. Worth, Texas, and Randy (Kelly) Cormier of Scott; six grandchildren; “ex-wife-in-law” Felicia Lormand Florez and ex-husband John Aguillard.
Preceding Mrs. LeGros in death were her daddy “Blackie” Cormier; her biological father, Earl Breaux, Sr.; her brother, Terry Cormier; and her godchild, “Bubba” Benoit.
Bringing Mrs. LeGros to her place of rest are pallbearers Lyle Landry, Kyle Thibodeaux, Drew LeGros, Jacob Broussard, Jacob Ryder and Dylan Dartez, and honorary pallbearers are Jimmy Miller and Paco Bonin.
