Michael Wayne Daigle

It’s with great sadness that the family of Michael Wayne Daigle announces his passing from this life at the age of 46. Funeral services for Michael were held on Monday, May 14, 2018 at 6:30 p.m. at Matthews and Son Funeral Home Chapel, with Brother Clifton LeJeune officiating. A gathering of family and friends was held on Monday, May 14, 2018, beginning at 2:30 p.m. until the time of his services. Michael’s family are honoring his wishes of cremation and interment will be held at a later date. Michael was born in Eunice to Ray T. Daigle and Mary Alice Fontenot Daigle on Sept. 15, 1971. Michael enjoyed spending time with his boys, listening to music and hanging out with his friends. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Michael is survived by his mother, Mary Alice Fontenot of Jennings; two sons, Michael G. Daigle and Tyler Daigle, both of Jennings; two brothers, Howard Daigle (Betty) of Plaquemine and Charles Daigle of Jennings; and four sisters, Sally Porter, Susan Daigle and Wanda Daigle of Jennings and Brenda Murry of Lake Charles. Michael Wayne was preceded in death by his father, Ray Thomas Daigle; sister, Debra D. Sonnier; and nephew, Richard “Big Rick” Sonnier.
