On Monday, June 28, 2021, Allison Rene Miller departed this earthly home unexpectedly to meet her Lord and Savior.
Funeral services for Allison Rene Miller, 19, of Jennings will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, July 2, 2021, in Miguez Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Rick Julian and Bro. Mickey Istre officiating.
Visitation for Allison will begin Thursday, July 1, 2021, at 11 a.m. and continue until 11 p.m. Visitation will resume from 8 a.m. Friday until service time at 10 a.m.
Burial will follow in Bertrand Cemetery.
Allison was born Sept. 13, 2001, in Jennings to her loving parents, Reed and Yvette Trahan Miller. She was one of four children the Miller family was blessed with.
She was a recent graduate of Hathaway High School where she enjoyed playing sports like basketball and track. She also enjoyed spending free time outdoors and anytime fishing was great, as well.
Allison was a bright star among her family and friends. She was a loving daughter, a wonderful sister and a funloving friend. Her absence will be felt by so many.
Those left to cherish her memory are her parents, Reed and Yvette of Hathaway; her sister, Alicia Miller of Hathaway; her two brothers, Trent Miller of Camp LeJeune, N.C., and Timothy (Shaniece Stelly) Miller of Hathaway; and numerous aunts and uncles.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Edward and Yvonne Crochet Trahan; her paternal grandparents, Lenard and Adela Authement Miller; and her aunt and uncle, Ursin “Popeye” and Mary Miller.
Those honored to carry her to her final resting place are Timothy Miller, Trent Miller, Ursin Miller, Dustin Lister, Alex Miller and Tyler Trahan.
Honorary pallbearers are Laklin Trahan; Tyler “Taz” Trahan, Trent “T-Nut” Trahan and Christian Trahan.
