Alzina Belle Moore
The family and friends of Alzina Belle Moore are mourning the loss of their loved one who was called from this life on Nov. 9, 2020, at the age of 73.
Funeral services for Alzina Belle Moore of Lake Charles will be held at Matthews and Son Funeral Home in Jennings Friday, Nov. 20, 2020, at 1 p.m., with Reverend Pernell Trent officiating.
A gathering of family and friends will be held at the funeral home Friday, Nov. 20, 2020, from 10 a.m. until the time of her service at 1 p.m.
Burial will follow in Benevolent Cemetery.
Alzina was born in Jennings to Adron Lenard Mouton, Sr., and Helen Milson on Dec. 18, 1947.
She was an author and she also did spiritual counseling. Alzina loved doing street ministry. Most of all, Alzina loved the time she spent with all of her family. She was a kind and loving woman who will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Alzina is survived by her granddaughter, Skye Cain of Lake Charles; her great-grandchildren, Akeem Nixon, Jr., Ja’Skirany Franklin, Tylar Withers and Tylon Cain; her brother, William Rayford Mouton, Sr., of Los Angeles, Calif.; her sisters-in-law, Sandra Mouton and Provy Mouton; her nephews, Adron Leonard Mouton, III, Robert Mouton and William Rayford Mouton, Jr.; her nieces, Lisa Mouton Adams and Shannon Mouton; her aunt, Gloria Clarke; her cousin, Elaine Donaldson; as well as a host of relatives and friends.
Alzina was preceded in death by her parents, Adron Lenard Mouton, Sr., and Helen Molson Mouton; her daughter, La’Chanique Lofton; and her brothers, Adron Lenard Mouton, Jr., Johnny B. Mouton, Johnnette Doyle and Caffery Mouton.
