Angela Louviere Schexnider

A Mass of Christian burial for Angela Louviere Schexnider of Jennings will be held at Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church in Jennings on Thursday, Dec. 9, 2021, at 10 a.m., with Father Keith Pellerin officiating.

A gathering of family and friends will be held at the funeral home today, Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2021, from 3-9 p.m., with a rosary recited at 6 p.m. by Melanie Hoffpauir.

Angela will be laid to rest in Calvary Cemetery following her Mass.

Angela Louviere Schexnider was born April 18, 1961, to Robert and Audrey Louviere and peacefully entered into eternal rest on Dec. 4, 2021.

She was a director for SOWELA for 34 years, as well as working for Krielow’s as a CPA. In her spare time, Angela loved to read, listen to music

In her spare time, Angela loved to read, listen to music and go to the beach. Her greatest joy came from time spent and memories made with her husband, children, grandchildren and her dogs.

Angela is survived by her mother, Audrey Louviere of Welsh; her husband, Michael Schexnider of Jennings; her son, Lance Michael Schexnider of Jennings; her daughters, Michelle Schexnider Miller (Matthew) of Lake Charles and Katie Ann Schexnider of Lake Charles; her six grandchildren, Brooklyn Miller, Gabriella Miller, Evee Schexnider, Madisyn Schexnider and Cameron Tadlock; her sisters, Brenda Louviere King (Tony) of Pensacola, Fla., Debbie Louviere Menard (Dwight) of Jacksonville, Fla., Janet Louviere Roth (Alan) of Lake Charles and Pamela Watkins (Marshall) of Lake Charles.

Angela now rejoices in heaven with her father, Robert Louviere, and her daughter, Karen Ann Schexnider.

Those chosen to honor her as her pallbearers are Bobby King, Mike King, Dwayne Schexnider, Louis Roth, Scott Roth and Kent Roth.
