Barbara Kiff Folks
Barbara Kiff Folks was born June 9, 1937, to Hughes B. Kiff Sr. and Alma Kiff of Morgan City and passed quietly on Sept. 17, 2021.
Barbara married after high school and moved to Sulphur, where she raised three children.
Barbara, known as Bobbi to her friends, loved to tell a story with a gleam in her eye and make people laugh. She loved her church community and was a loyal friend and generous soul. She adored her four grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Howard Folks of Welsh; two sons, Kirk Credeur (and his wife Kayla Credeur) of Welsh and Scott Credeur of Houston, Texas; four grandchildren, Stephanie Yancey of Cutoff, Derek Credeur of Houston, Texas, Kristen Credeur of Melbourne, Fla. and Styles Credeur of Houston, Texas; a sister, Carolyn Dement of Ovett, Miss.; and a brother, Barry Kiff of Baton Rouge.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Donna Yancey, and brothers, Hughes B. Kiff, Jr., and Edville Kiff.
