Bobbie Lynn St. Cyr Vanicor

Bobbie Lynn St. Cyr Vanicor, 81, passed away peacefully on Nov. 3, 2021, at her residence with her husband of 53 years, Raymond, by her side.

Funeral services were held at Matthews and Son Funeral Home Chapel in Jennings at 3 p.m. Friday, Nov. 5, 2021.

A gathering of family and friends was held at the funeral home Friday, Nov. 5, 2021, from 10 a.m. until the time of her service at 3 p.m.

Burial followed in Lacassine Cemetery.

Bobbie loved to read, crochet and cook. She was a faithful servant of the Lord and was a member of Church of Christ in New Iberia and Jennings.

She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her husband, Raymond Vanicor of Scott; her brother, Dean St. Cyr (Paula) of Jennings; her son, Ramon James “Jimmy” Vanicor (Onealia) of Iota; her daughter, Rebecca Trude (Sammy) of Iowa; her nine grandchildren; and her 13 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James Daily St. Cyr and Vynice Amant Johnson.
