Bobby ‘Tricky Tro’ Prudhomme

Bobby “Tricky Tro” Prudhomme, 61, of Welsh departed this life on May 7, 2019, in Jennings.

His funeral will be held Saturday, May 18, 2019, at New Jerusalem Baptist Church, with a viewing starting at 8 a.m. and services to begin at 11 a.m., with Rev. Nathan T. Stevens officiating.

Interment will be in Eastridge Cemetery under the direction of Ford and Joseph Funeral Home in Crowley.

He was a member of New Jerusalem Baptist Church of Welsh.

He is survived by one son, Bryson Prudhomme; seven daughters, Berkina Prudhomme, Chassidy Miller, Shala Parker, Bobbie Prudhomme, Catherine Turner, Skylar Lebleu and Hazlie Trahan; two brothers, Russell Prudhomme, Jr., and Danny Peck; seven sisters, Peggy L. Keys, Learma Kauffman, Glenda Woods, Connie Prudhomme, Cynthia (Kevin) Prudhomme, Debbie (Darrell) Zeno and Madlyn Prudhomme; eight grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Russell J. Prudhomme, Sr.; brothers, Charles Lemell, Sr., and Jerry Prudhomme, Sr.; sister, Sharon Love; two grandchildren; and longtime companion, Jennifer Batiste.
