A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 21, 2021, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Iota for Carl Thomas Regan, 85, who died Saturday, Aug. 14, 2021, at 8:58 p.m. at Jennings American Legion Hospital.

Fr. Jude Thierry, Pastor of St. Joseph Catholic Church, will officiate for the services. The family requests visiting hours be held Friday from 3-10 p.m. and Saturday from 8-10:45 a.m.

A rosary will be recited Friday at 6 p.m.

Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.

Mr. Regan was a member of the Knights of Columbus and Iota American Legion. Carl owned and operated Crazy Cajun Catering.

Carl is survived by his wife of 22 years, Joanna Trahan Crochet Regan of Egan; one daughter, Carla Regan of Grand Prairie, Texas; two sons, Thomas Regan and James Regan, both of Egan; two sisters, Dolores Cart and her husband Ronald of Richmond, Texas, and Carolyn Durst and her husband Phillip of Knoxville, Tenn.; one brother, Frederick “Freddy” Regan of Egan; two stepsons, Wade Crochet and his companion Candice Mann of Jennings and Wesley Crochet and his wife Megan of Hathaway; 10 grandchildren, Whitney LeBlanc Castillo, Nicholas LeBlanc, Christian LeBlanc, Aerial Crochet, Regan LeBlanc, Kaya Regan, Michael Hurst, Kaden Hurst, Ava Roland and Madison Crochet; and six great-grandchildren, Christian, Jackson, Austin, Beau, Declan and Daniel.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Phillip and Ethel Leger Regan; and one brother, Francis, “Satch” Regan.
