Cheryl “Penny” Ann Davis
JENNINGS — Funeral services for Mrs. Cheryl “Penny” Ann Davis, 60, of Iota, was held on Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2023, in the Miguez Funeral Home Chapel at 1 p.m. Burial followed in Maxie Cemetery in Crowley under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.
Visitation began on Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2023, at 8:30 a.m. and continued until the 1 p.m. service time.
Penny was born in Pineville on Nov. 5, 1963, to Willie Dunn and Eunice Marie Doyle Dunn. She worked as a care giver in the Home Health industry. She was very creative; she loved her family dearly and she enjoyed taking care of the elderly. She took great pride in herself and in everything she did, she really enjoyed spending time with her wife-in-law Bonnie Delome. She loved her fur babies Diamond and Oreo.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Keith Davis; daughters, Dori (Jerome) Gilder of Sulphur, Holli (Beau) Bruchhaus of Sulphur, Megan (Charles Brady) Davis of Sulphur; sisters, Sue Ellen Bailey, Pamela Long, Kathy (Tom) McDonald, Lonny (Sterling) Hawkins, Rose Taylor and Deborah Hampton; brothers, Ronald Dunn, John (Keri) Hawkins and Dennis (Carol) Hawkins; foster mother, Kathyrn Hawkins and seven grandchildren, Logan, Gavin, Ashton, Ava, William, Tucker and Aubryn.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Bill Dunn.
