Cheryl Ann Wilson

Cheryl Ann Wilson, 60, passed away on Feb. 16, 2019, at a local care facility.

Cheryl was a double graduate of McNeese State University. After college, she worked for many years at the Department of Environmental Quality. In her free time, she enjoyed gardening and art. She even won the McNeese Art Contest. Ms. Wilson’s family fondly remembers her as a social, family-oriented woman that enjoyed being with her family and friends.

She is survived by her mother, Della Soileau; two daughters, Amber and Adrian Wilson; four grandchildren, Tommy “Boobie” James, Abbagail Wilson, Jacob Wilson and Isaac James; four sisters, Carroll Gobert (Terry), Lindy Gatson (Karl), Donna Mouton (Donald) and Roslyn Harmon (Larry); and many more family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, JC Soileau; and sister, Evelyn Soileau.

Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
