Daisy LeGros
Funeral services for Mrs. Daisy LeGros, 85, will be held at 10 a.m. today, Friday, Jan. 18, 2019, in Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church, with Rev. Charles McMillin officiating.
Funeral home visitation was held from 2:30-8 p.m. Thursday and will continue from 8 a.m. today, Friday, until time of services. A rosary was recited at 6 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery Garden of the Angels under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home. Mrs. LeGros died at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2019, in Jennings American Legion Hospital. Mrs. LeGros was a lifelong long resident of Jennings and was a hairdresser. She was an amazing cook and seamstress who loved her family and doing outside work.
She was a member of Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church and the Catholic Daughters. Survivors include her husband, William “Billy” LeGros of Jennings; two daughters, Beverly (Kenneth) Ragland of Walsh, Ill., and Gretta (Gerald) Preston of Moss Bluff; three sons, Charles (Cathy) Patrick LeGros of Sulphur, Glenn (Derek Bisig) LeGros of Iota and Wade (Angela) LeGros of Hayes; two sisters, Mary Klumpp of Basile and Rebecca (Ronnie) Doucet of Jennings; one brother, Holland (Alberta) Landry of Portland, Ore.; her best friend, Boo Young of Jennings; 16 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
