David Manuel

Funeral services for Mr. David Manuel, 72, of Jennings was held Monday, Dec. 7, 2020, at 2 p.m. in Miguez Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Jack Harris officiating.

Visitation with the family was held Monday, Dec. 7, 2020, rom 10 a.m. until service time at 20 p.m.

Burial followed in Lopez Cemetery.

Mr. Manuel passed away Dec. 5, 2020. He was born Nov. 2, 1948, to parents Drew Joseph and Anita Anna Schexnyder Manuel.

Mr. Manuel served as head chef at Boudin King Restaurant in Jennings for many years.

Mr. Manuel leaves behind to cherish his memories his loving wife, Jacqueline “Jackie” Lopez Manuel; daughter, Jesecca Creger of Jennings; two sisters, Noon Bruney of Iowa and Jeanette Guillory of Kinder; two brothers, Paul and Albert Manuel, both of Jennings; and one grandchild, Sydney Creger.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Tony Manuel.

In lieu of flowers, the family is accepting donations to help with the care and upkeep of the cemetery and to help offset the cost of the funeral.
