David Wade Babineaux
Funeral services for David Wade Babineaux, 33, of Lake Arthur will be held at 1 p.m. today, Tuesday, March 9, 2021, in Miguez Funeral Home Chapel in Jennings, with Deacon Mike Tramel officiating.
Visitation for Mr. Babineaux began Monday, March 8, 2021, from 5-9 p.m., with a rosary at 6:30 p.m. Visitation will resume today, Tuesday, from 8 a.m. until time of service.
Burial will follow in Andrus Cove Cemetery.
Mr. Babineaux was born in Crowley on Dec. 18, 1987. He was a high school graduate. He worked as a plumber and auto mechanic. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding horses, ATVs, working cattle, music and tattoos. He also loved his mechanic work.
David was happiest just being in the country and outdoors.
Those left to cherish his memory are his parents, Ken (Kristi) Babineaux of Jennings and Stephanie (David) Coles Guidry of LakeArthur; his soulmate, Michelle Lantz; two sons, Kamiron Chaisson and Austin Babineaux, both of Jennings; three sisters, Katie Babineaux of Jennings, Skylar Benoit of Hathaway and Mercades Prater of Lake Arthur; four brothers, Kain Babineaux of Baton Rouge, Ryan Courville of Jennings, DeaMarcus Prater of Lafayette and Jaquan Prater of Lake Charles; and his honorary stepmom, Kristal Benoit.
