Don Kirk Cahee

Funeral services for Mr. Don Kirk Cahee, 62, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, 2019, in Semien-Lewis Mortuary Church Chapel, 819 N. State Street in Jennings, with Rev. Dwayne Miller officiating. Visitation will be held Saturday in the chapel from 9 a.m. until time of services.

Burial will be in Eastridge Cemetery in Welsh.

Mr. Cahee entered into eternal rest at his residence in Gray on Saturday, Feb. 16, 2019. He was a native of Welsh and was a retired self-employed painter. He was a former member of New Hope Baptist Church in Welsh.

Mr. Cahee leaves to cherish his memories his children, Donnetta (Travis) Etienne, Towanna (Benny) Antoine, Darnisha Robinson, Roniel Antoine and Mekyillia (Kenneth) Dorsey; his brothers, Harold (Rena) Cahee of Lake Charles, Kerry Cahee of Los Angeles, Calif., and Dwight Cahee of Alexandria; his sister, Dianne (John) Alexander of Lafayette; 13 grandchildren; five greatgrandchildren; Godchild, Lenell (Dermikus) Duhon; and a special companion, Della Antoine.

Don was preceded in death by parents, Willie Mae and Harry Cahee; his sisters, Sandra Cahee and Faye Handy; and his brother, Michael Cahee.
