Ella Mae Richard

LAKE ARTHUR - Private graveside services for Mrs. Ella Mae Lyons Richard, 81, were held Wednesday, April 1, 2020, in St. Anthony Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Mrs. Richard passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2020, in her residence.

She was a native of Church Point but spent most of her life in the Lake Arthur/Jennings community. She was a member of Bethel Church. She loved her church. She enjoyed visiting with her family and friends.

Survivors include her three daughters, Patricia Meche of Jennings, Brenda (Glenn) Oliver of Jennings and Jennifer Richard of Evangeline; two sons, Ronald (Selina) Richard of Zachary and Hubert (Tammy) Richard of Lake Arthur; one brother, Paul Lyons of Jennings; 21 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Damond Richard; her parents, Etienne and Blanche Clavier Lyons; a grandson, Bryce Richard; three sisters; and four brothers.
