LAKE ARTHUR - Funeral services for Mrs. Evelyn Vincent, 85, of Lake Arthur will be held today, Tuesday, July 16, 2019, at 3 p.m. in Miguez Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Susil Fernando officiating.

Visitation for Mrs. Vincent will begin today, Tuesday, at 9:30 a.m. and will continue until time of service at 3 p.m.

Burial will follow in St. Anthony Cemetery.

Mrs. Vincent was a country girl at heart and always loved living in the country. She enjoyed going across the street to visit with her sister. She especially enjoyed being around her family. She loved to drink coffee and embroider.

She leaves to cherish her memory a son, Louis (Sue) Vincent of Lake Arthur; a sister, Grace Trahan of Lake Arthur; a brother, Harold Duhon of Bridge City, Texas; four grandchildren, Craig Vincent, Mandy Jones, James Vincent and Bambi Vincent; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Louistine and Saline Hanks Duhon; her beloved husband, Floyd John Vincent; a son, Garland Vincent; a sister, Mildred Klein; and two brothers, Eugene and Russell Duhon.
