Felton Roy ‘Shady’ Jackson

Felton Roy “Shady” Jackson, 62, departed this life Saturday, Oct. 12, 2019, at Harbor of Hospice Hospital in Lake Charles.

Visitation will be held today, Friday, Oct. 18, 2019, at 9 a.m. and funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. in King’s Funeral Home.

Burial will follow in Benevolent Cemetery in Jennings.

He was born Feb. 9, 1957, to Felton Jackson and Counthain Sams Jackson in Lafayette.

He worked as a carpenter in

the construction industry until his retirement.

He leaves to cherish his memories his children, Gabriel Levi of Roanoke and Rashera and Levy Sinegal, both of Lake Charles; his siblings, Velma (Clifton) Jack of Ville Platte, Cathy (Brandon) Beroid of Roanoke, Ivory Levi, Gil Jackson and Gary Jackson, all of Lake Charles and Pamela Mendez of Alexandria; and a host of nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Felton and Counthain Jackson; two brothers, Stephen and pat Jackson; and one nephew, Brandon Jackson.
