Floyd Joseph Bouley
The family and friends of Floyd Joseph Bouley are mourning the loss of their loved one who was called from this life on June 4, 2021, at the age of 82.
Funeral services for Floyd Joseph Bouley will be held at Matthews and Son Funeral Home in Jennings today, Tuesday, June 8, 2021, at 7 p.m. Visitation will be held from noon until the time of service, with a Rosary recited at 6 p.m.
Floyd was born in Welsh to Ophey Joseph Bouley and Leslie Pearl Cloud Bouley on Nov. 13, 1938. He was strong-willed and worked hard as a driller. Floyd loved Cajun music and played the accordion. He enjoyed going out to the countryside where he was raised and was a skilled hunter.
Floyd was very caring and loved his family unconditionally.
Floyd is survived by sons Floyd “Frog” (Melissa) Bouley, Randy James (Christy) Bouley and Gerald (Jacquelinetta) Bouley, all of Jennings; daughters, Lanora (Neil) Gay, Suzette (Arthur “Pedro”) Istre, Roxanne Bouley and Trina Bouley, all of Jennings; brothers, Jason (Debra) Bouley and Arnold Ray (Dianne) Bouley of Welsh; sisters, Eva Jane Bouley and Claire Broussard; grandchildren, Randy Blair Bouley, Seth James Bouley, Kelly Bouley, Holly Dawn Bouley, Kaylee Bouley, Chance John Istre, Chastity Hope Enriquez, Haley Duhon, Ma’Kylen Duhon, Tiffany Hendrickson Bouley, Tyler, Paula Meyers, Garrick Bouley, Jerrick Bouley, Jameric Bouley, Jeremiah Bouley, Joseph “Lil Jo” Bouley, Aniya Bouley, Lena Bouley and Sara Richard; as well as great-grandchildren, relatives and friends.
Floyd was preceded in death by parents, Ophey and Leslie C. Bouley; and siblings, Lormand Bouley; as well as Dudley Bouley, Theresa Bouley, Yvonne Meyers, Francis Bouley, Vernie Bouley, Gracie Bouley and Loretta Bouley.
