Fonton Glynn Edwards

Funeral services for Fonton Glynn Edwards, 64, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, 2019, in David & Rosa Fondel Church Chapel at Semien-Lewis Mortuary, 819 North State Street in Jennings. Minister Terry Simon, Jr. , will officiate.

Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until time of service on Saturday in the church chapel.

Burial will be later under the direction of Semien-Lewis Mortuary.

Mr. Edwards entered into eternal rest Feb. 7, 2019, in a Lafayette hospital. He was a lifelong resident of Jennings.

He is survived by his loving family: one sister, Mrs. Wanda (Terry) Simon, Sr.; three brothers, Michael, Douglas and James Edwards, Sr., all of Jennings; special friend, Lois Knight of Baton Rouge; nieces and nephews, Jonitta Edwards Adolph, Chero Simon, Terry Simon, Jr., Barthol Ceaser, Joe Edwards, Jr., Hebert Edwards, Jr., James Capdeville, James, Joseph and Brittany Edwards and Joni Capdeville.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Dorothy Paddio, and Rose Capdeville; and three brothers, Joseph, Herbert and Carol Edwards.
