Gertrude Doucet Bonin

Funeral services for Mrs. Gertrude Doucet Bonin, 73, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 25, 2019, in Miguez Funeral Home.

Funeral home visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. Friday until time of services.

Burial will be in Sensat Cemetery in Egan.

Mrs. Bonin passed away at noon Sunday, Oct. 20, 2019, in Camelot Brookside Nursing Home.

Mrs. Bonin lived most of her life in Jennings. She loved listening to music, cooking and watching football. She also loved to read and spend time with her family.

Survivors include her daughters, Leslie LeJeune of Jennings and Donna (Kurt) Hanks of Carlyss; her sons, Randall Bonin of Sulphur and Jerard (Carla) Bonin, Jarod (Felecia) Bonin and Louis (Melissa) Bonin, all of Jennings; her brothers, Horace (Carol) Doucet of Crowley and Ray (Bonnie) Doucet of Duson; 17 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Adam and Josephine Quebodeaux Doucet, Jr.; her husband, Willie Leo Bonin; her son-in-law, Harlie LeJeune; her sister, Clarice Fuselier; and her brothers, Tommy Doucet, William, Albert and Constance Dupre.
